Ladies, we will be challenged to reflect on our dependence on God and our purpose in Him as we study Acts chapters 17-28 together. These chapters chronicle the spread of the Gospel throughout the Roman world. Paul’s travels take him to Thessalonica, Berea and Athens, where he engages with philosophers and ordinary people. We can learn to be like Paul, using personal experiences to introduce others to Jesus. We will be inspired to proclaim the truth despite opposition that still exists in our culture today.
4-fold Purpose of The Women of The Word Bible Study
Independent Study: To allow the Holy Spirit to work in your life and “speak” to you.
Discussion Group: To grow together as we listen to the Holy Spirit’s work in others’ lives.
Teaching: To expand upon and reinforce the Bible passage studied.
Worship: To express praise to God for His work in our lives.
